The Padel Sports Foundation (PSF) is the national governing body for padel in India, endorsed by the National Olympic Committee of India – the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). Established as a not-for-profit Section 8 Company, PSF operates under its constitution in full compliance with the National Sports Governance Act, 2025 and the International Padel Federation (FIP) statutes, making it the only legitimate authority for padel in the country.
Our mission is to make padel accessible, inclusive, and sustainable — creating pathways for athletes, coaches, clubs, and volunteers to thrive at every level of the sport. Guided by our 2025–2028 Development Plan, PSF is scaling court infrastructure, conducting transparent national competitions, building certified coaching and refereeing pathways, and driving strong community engagement.
Today, PSF has an established national footprint across 19+ states, supported by an active national circuit, operational academies, and a published ranking system featuring 250+ ranked players. With 100+ certified coaches already active and ambitious targets to certify 2,000 coaches and 300 referees by 2028, PSF is laying the foundation for long-term growth. Backed by strategic partnerships, PSF is committed to growing padel in India from grassroots participation to elite performance through a collaborative ecosystem.
Our mission is to break down barriers and foster widespread participation by making padel visible, accessible, and sustainable across India. We are committed to building an inclusive ecosystem where people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities can engage in the sport — as players, coaches, officials, or supporters.
Our vision is to transform padel from an emerging sport into one of India’s most recognized and celebrated activities. We aspire to see padel courts across both urban and rural communities, Indian players competing on global stages, and the sport contributing meaningfully to India’s national sporting identity.
Focus on building strong foundations with court infrastructure, onboarding coaches, and organizing competitions. The year will culminate with hosting the FIP Bronze in October 2025.
Push the sport to the next level by competing internationally, hosting more events, and ensuring robust athlete support to create momentum.
Strengthen grassroots development and expand outreach by encouraging lower-ranked tennis and squash players to transition into the sport.
Elevate the sport globally by giving local players international exposure, participating across all FIP tournaments, and hosting four FIP events.
To build and grow the sport of Padel across the country, we have identified six core pillars that will guide our strategy and execution
Rapidly expand padel infrastructure by building courts nationwide, ensuring accessibility across regions, and solidifying the sport’s position as a mainstream game for every Indian player.
Forge strong alliances with clubs, schools, authorities, and leisure operators to fuel both organic and inorganic growth, ensuring long-term development and stronger integration of padel.
Build brand identity, digital presence, and communities. By 2027–28, promotions will scale via flagship events and partner rollouts, driving recognition, visibility, and brand elevation.
Leverage modern tech in coaching, competition, and engagement to create a connected ecosystem, enhance player development, and accelerate padel’s rapid rise across India’s sporting culture.
Grow certified coaches and referees to build a strong talent pool capable of running academies, nurturing athletes, and officiating matches from grassroots levels to global tournaments.
Showcase global stars, give Indian players valuable international exposure, and feature celebrity owners to drive visibility, positioning India as a premier destination on the world padel map.
